Yoga Classes

Group Classes
Whether you’re a beginner, or an experienced practitioner, please rest assured that you will feel completely welcomed.
My classes will typically include breathing techniques (pranayama), yoga poses (asana) and flowing sequences of asana (vinyasa) as well as relaxation (yoga nidra) and meditation practice. Each class includes traditional yoga philosophy.
Modifications are offered to those that require them, and variations suggested to the more experienced yogis. There is no judgement or pressure - just join in to the best of your ability!
For the online classes, all you need is a good internet connection. If you don’t have a yoga mat, yoga block or belt, you can use your carpet, a cushion and a long sock instead!

Private Yoga Classes
Private yoga sessions are ideal for those who have a particular requirement which needs more attention than a large group class can offer. This can include pregnancy, or post-natal, recovery from an injury or illness, a desire to focus on a particular aspect of yoga, or just wanting to learn yoga at your own pace.
The first session begins with a short consultation so that subsequent classes can be tailored to your needs and ability. We then work together to build confidence in your individual practice with a gentle approach to support your body’s capability, while finding stillness and peace of mind.

I started one-to-one yoga sessions with Jo after the birth of my second child as I wanted to regain my core strength and get back to exercise. She tailored the sessions to my ability (I was a total novice) and she made me feel very comfortable which meant that I gave it my all.

Lifestyle Plan
When you come along for a Consultation, I will prepare a lifestyle plan (Ojas Plan) for you, which will include yoga techniques to help bring balance back to every part of your physical, mental and emotional body.
